Seeking a spectacular candidate for a work/trade opportunity on the farm. In exchange for lodging in a lovely, fully furnished studio apartment (including washer/dryer, WiFi, heat, electric, trash and recycling), the ideal person will be able to commit to roughly 20 hours per week of farm work. Unless otherwise agreed to, this will include early mornings 6-7 days per week and will be comprised of assisting with barn chores, pen-mucking, skyr labeling and cleaning dairy equipment. Must be able to lift fifty pounds, be comfortable working outside in cold and snowy conditions and have a road-worthy car with suitable snow tires and AWD. And obviously, must love goats.

This arrangement is best suited to a person with a somewhat flexible freelance or remote job. Looking to begin on or around November 1 and go until April 1. No pets please. Must provide one professional and one personal reference. Email Lauren with the subject “Winter Work/Trade” at lauren@villavillekullafarm.com.
